Final Fantasy XVI Headlines PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for June 2026

Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions for June 2026, with Final Fantasy XVI leading the charge for Extra and Premium subscribers. The 2023 action RPG lands on June 16, giving the month a headliner that carries real weight for subscribers who passed on it at launch.

The full catalog drop is spread across multiple dates this month. According to GameSpot, Sony is staggering the US, UK, and Japan rollout: Sonic x Shadow: Generations was already live on June 10, Final Fantasy XVI arrives June 16, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance along with Life is Strange: Double Exposure follow on June 23. Farming Simulator 25 landed even earlier, on June 3. Outside those three regions, all titles are available from June 16 onward.

Wccftech notes that Extra subscribers get seven new titles this month, while Premium bumps that to eight through the Classics Catalog. Kotaku flags Gitaroo Man as the Premium-exclusive retro addition, which is a niche but enthusiastic pick for anyone who remembers the PS2 original.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance joining the catalog is also worth a second look. The title received a current-gen update relatively recently, so subscribers are getting a polished version rather than a straight backward-compatible port. Combined with Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Final Fantasy XVI, the month leans heavily into narrative-driven RPG territory, which tends to perform well for subscriber engagement numbers.

The Essential tier, open to all PS Plus subscribers, already has its own June lineup running separately. The catalog additions covered here apply only to Extra and Premium tiers.
